हर पन्ने पर ऊपर दाईं ओर भाषा का चिह्न है। एक बार दबाने से पूरा app — कथा, प्रश्न और बटन — हिन्दी और अंग्रेज़ी के बीच बदल जाता है।
फ़ोन का silent/मौन स्विच देखिए, और आवाज़ बढ़ाइए। पहली बार ध्वनि उतरने में कुछ क्षण लगते हैं, इसलिए पहली बार internet चाहिए। उसके बाद वही पाठ बिना internet भी बोलता है।
चित्र पहली बार server से उतरते हैं। internet धीमा हो तो कुछ प्रतीक्षा कीजिए, या पाठ बंद करके फिर खोलिए। एक बार उतरने के बाद वे फ़ोन में रह जाते हैं।
पहली बार app माइक की अनुमति माँगता है — उसे अनुमति दीजिए। आपकी आवाज़ की जाँच फ़ोन के भीतर ही होती है; वह न कहीं सहेजी जाती है, न हमारे server पर जाती है।
प्रतियोगिता अभी उन्हीं विद्यालयों के लिए है जो इससे जुड़े हैं। अपने विद्यालय से कक्षा-कोड और प्रवेश संख्या लीजिए। विद्यालय जोड़ना चाहें तो हमें लिखिए।
बच्चा घर में काम कर ले, तो अभिभावक app में स्वीकृति देते हैं। पुरस्कार आचरण पर मिलता है, केवल पढ़ने पर नहीं।

दैनिक दीप और पाठों की प्रगति फ़ोन में ही रहती है, इसलिए नए फ़ोन में वह फिर से आरंभ होगी। प्रतियोगिता के अंक विद्यालय के अभिलेख में सुरक्षित रहते हैं।
पाठ का नाम और वर्ग लिखकर हमें भेजिए। शास्त्र-वचन और उनके स्रोत हमारे लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण हैं — भूल बताइए, हम तुरंत सुधारते हैं।

Tap the language icon at the top right of any screen. The whole app — stories, questions and buttons — switches between Hindi and English.
Check the silent switch and raise the volume. Audio is downloaded the first time a lesson is opened, so an internet connection is needed once; after that the same lesson plays offline.
Pictures are downloaded from our server the first time. On a slow connection please wait a moment, or close and reopen the lesson. Once downloaded they stay on the phone.
The app asks for microphone permission the first time — please allow it. The check happens entirely on the device; what a child speaks is never stored or sent to our server.
The contest is currently open to schools that have joined the programme. Please ask your school for the class code and admission number. If your school would like to join, write to us.
The child does the task at home and a parent confirms it in the app. Rewards come from conduct, not from merely reading.
Yes. Lessons, pictures and audio remain on the phone after the first download and open without an internet connection.
The daily lamp and lesson progress are kept on the phone, so they begin afresh on a new phone. Contest marks remain safe in the school's record.
Send us the lesson name and the stage. The verses and their sources matter most to us — tell us about any error and we correct it at once.
